Andy Calope

Who are you?

I am a struggling musician.

What is a struggling musician?

In simple terms, it's the opposite of big-name artists. Usually, a struggling musician has a day job that he hates inevitably and when night falls, he grab his guitar and hop around the city bars to play a tune or two in exchange for a free dinner. It's close to frustration.

At what street do you always play?

I'm not into busking yet, but maybe soon. It usually depends on the invites and events. No regular gigs up my sleeves, but sometimes I hang out at The Outpost and/or Handuraw Pizza. That's Veteran's Drive and Gorordo Ave. respectively.

What else do you do?

Besides waiting for my rocket to come, I work in a flight school. At least I got free plane rides.

Where can I hear your songs online?

You can hear my demos on my video page. Years back, I made a home recording on my old songs. It's on myspace.com/andycalope.

How can I reach you?

Email me: andy @andycalope.com (no space: it's an anti-spam technique) or drop me a message thru yahoo messenger: andoi_c. Or be my friend at Facebook.

In your own opinion, what do you think is the best song EVER written?

True by The Frames.
